the pin-did challenge: week 4

A red door!
Isn't it gorgeous?
Kate of Oh Write! is behind this baby, and she has some lovely Pinterest inspiration photos up with her post, too.
I want to do the exact same thing the minute we close on our house -- only I'm thinking maybe mustard?

Pinterest keeps right on knocking my sub-zero winter socks off with all the amazing ideas peeps are pinning.
I keep swinging between creative ecstasy and creative despair at how many things there are that I want to be DOING!

Your turn...

the pin-did challenge: week 3

You guys have the coolest projects going on!
My crafty mojo has been kinda off lately, but seeing all your lovely pin-dids sure gets a body moving.
Or thinking about moving.
Ahem.
Did you see Rachael's crazy-darling capes??

Oh gosh, the collar.
I have been loving the Peter Pan collar stuff that's been flying around the blogosphere lately.
Does anyone know of any women's patterns (or other kid patterns) with Peter Pan collars?
Go to Rachael's blog for more pics of the finished capes -- they are so cute!

the pin-did challenge: week 1

It's time for the very first Pin-Did link party! whoopity whoop!
I'm giddy, so giddy. I can't wait to see what you've got to share.
To kick things off, I'm sharing my own happy little pin-did: fabric-lined envelopes!

I used fabrics from Aviary 2 and Loulouthi. The nice thing is that each envelope only takes a tiny bit of fabric, so you don't have to use up a huge cut of your favorite print. It was super easy and I can't wait to make some cards to go with them.

pinterest challenge!

Been feeling like this lately?

Yeah me too.
Howzabout a little Pinterest challenge?
Short, sweet, simple: every week, DO something from your pinboards.
Or from someone else's pinboards.
Or just something that you've been meaning to try in general.

So what's got your fingers (or your tummy) itching?
Fabric-lined envelopes and Mod Podge pencils are at the top of my list.
Maybe a lace t-shirt?
or possibly some tinted glue?
Apple cheddar scones?
Peanut butter cocoa?!
(gahh!!)

Next Tuesday we'll do a little linky party so you can show off your stuff.
Sound good?
I hope so, because I will feel really silly if no one links up!

SO to get the ball rolling, here's my pin-did (hee) for the week...

Brown butter pumpkin spice krispie treats!!
And I am here to testify -- they really are that good.
{I mean, we gotta start this thing off on the right foot.}

Let's get out there and start pin-diddly-DOING!
YEAH! (punches fist in the air, rock star style.)

And we'll get away from so much of this...

...or then again, maybe not.

eta: Here's a button! I'm so excited I couldn't wait until next week.
