Happy Monday, sweet friends!
I'm over at Simple + Beautiful today sharing my recent journey of mine
where I overcame one of my fears in pursuit of something a whole lot better.
Ms. Melinda Joy is a beautiful + kindred spirit, not to mention a very old friend.
Go get to know her -- you'll be glad you did.

WHOA. what is that thing your playing? I've not seen that before?
i loved it! love love love it. you're inspiring, lady. i had a fantasy like that and it prompted me to buy a turquoise violin. it's in my closet. turns out i'm not that musical. i just like the way i look with instruments. but my dream that i have VERY recently barely spoken to a few people is... i'm going to write a book. i want to. and i'm going to. it might not be good, but it's time to do it.
I would love to join your band. I love to sing with all my heart!
Oh, Amanda! There was a fabulous Female Bluegrass Band at the Farmers' Market several times during the past summer. I couldn't feel anything other than happy when their music was in motion. What a wonderful experience. Take it!
Gorgeous picture of you and girls.
I love your dream! I didn't even know what an autoharp was until you mentioned it. It suits you well :) I love the picture of you playing and singing to your girls. It makes me reminisce my childhood of my mom playing guitar and singing to us kids. I'm sure your kids love it :)
Follow that dream girl!
What a sweet post over at Simple + Beautiful. There is indeed something very powerful (and frightening) about speaking our dreams aloud.
