My fav. part of winter ending. You guys have to try the Maple Taffy poured on snow if you haven't already.

I've always wanted to be a part of a sugaring. Have you read the chapter on the sugaring in one of the Little House books? I want to say it's book #1, Little House in the Big Woods. That's probably one of the reasons why I've always wanted to go to one. I adore maple syrup and maple syrup candy. I buy organic grade B syrup with a lovely caramel taste, but I bet your neighbors will taste even better!

p.s. Love the baby backpack! I had one with my youngest and LOVED it.

Looks like fun! We don't know that sound here in Georgia. Spring is signaled by daffodils bursting through the ground.

How long is the sugaring "season"?

We love sugaring stories! Have you read your girls the one from Little House in the Big Woods? You're so blessed to be there.

My sis brought home REAL maple syrup from one of her trips - Mmmmmm! For some reason I can't bring myself to buy the real stuff at the store when I can make homemade fake maple syrup, but someday I'm buying the real stuff (or maybe I'll ask Santa to bring some for Christmas). Seriously A, you live in an amazing place with such fun adventures. LOVE the pony in M's hair. LOVE IT!

You guys are SOOOOOO lucky! K's sister used to live in Vermont and we got converted then. Real syrup costs a fortune where we live, but we can't stand the fake stuff any more.
